It retrospect, we have been in Croatia at the best possible time. The temperatures have been really pleasant, but growing steadily warmer. Today it drove us inside at 8:10 am and then to the swimming hole for the rest of the morning and at 1:30 we had to have lunch and start siesta for the rest of the day. It is now 7 pm and still very warm. The ocean is very nice with just perfect temperatures. A fellow today said that in summer it gets to 25 degrees and feels like a cooking pot.
We think that we would come to Cavtat again and perhaps rent a boat to tour the islands a bit. We have learned a few things about renting accomadation and eating patterns. For example, everywhere has pizza on their menu, but many won't actually have it until June 15th, or
"the season", seems to start. Overall, the food here is outstanding, and very reasonable.
Tomorrow at 9:30 we get a cab to the airport and fly off to Dorian. This is exciting for us. We will have to share Dorian with the World Cup though. Talk to you again from Glasgow.
