Snags and potholes.

Ah technology, I'm sitting in The Bell pub in Morton in Marsh on Tuesday night, Karaoke Night!! Help!!!. I'm here here because our Internet has pulled up stakes and left town on the last horse. I am now forced to resort to The Bell. I just want to keep in touch so I'll put a few pics on and let you know that we're alive. Then, I'm out of here.

Here we have an ancient dovecote. The people depended on these especially during the war when there was rationing.

These two pics are from an 12th century Abby that is preserved by the heritage group that we joined. It was very peaceful to have our lunch here.

We have seen that almost every one of the Cotswold villages has one of these. They are memorials to the local lads lost in the wars.

I give up. I just listened to a VERY bad rendition of Sweet Caroline and they are now screaming Sparkling Rosie. We went to a Cirencester, a town dating from the Roman times. We'll get the pics on and share them with you tomorrow, not Karaoke night.

  1. Hey Geo, I've heard Sheelagh's "Sweet Caroline" and think it may be a bit harsh to describe it as 'very bad'. Don't let them beat you down S - SING like the audience is hearing impaired!
