Over the hills to Blockley

Blockley is the village we'll be moving to when our friends Jim and Kathy join us the middle of May. Our address will be Rosemary Cottage, Snugborough Lane, Blockley. Carol's flat above the Tescos is proving wonderful for two but would be tight for four. It will be tight for two if we continue to frequent Tilly's. Today, Blockley was having it's Spring Flower Show at the village hall. The hall was built with stone salvaged from Wolverton Manor when it was destroyed by a German bomb and patriotically named St. George's Hall. We decided to stroll over the hill and check out our future abode. We packed a cut lunch. Everyone knows a cut lunch must include crips and we had nothing but the best, Walkers. Villages take their flower shows very seriously. We heard abit of muttering over the judges' decisions but no buns were thrown. I want to know how one gets to be a judge of the baking.
