George is letting me do this blog. He has really enjoyed driving here because it's a standard car. The roads are excellent - a couple of white knuckle drops. They don't believe in guardrails. The best part are the roundabouts. There are no traffic lights just roundabouts. They allow the driver to keep circling while the three navigators argue over which way to go. Up north, our friend Cesar has put beautiful mobiles in the centre of the roundabout to keep the driver entertain
We also have to share the road with agressive bike riders - most of them on recumbent bikes worked with their arms. We were told that the nordic countries' parapalegic teams come here to train. I find it a little scary as they are so low to the ground.
We have had very unsettled weather the last two days. A terrific thunder storm Sun/Mon night. Poor Jim and Kathy had water come into their bedroom through the casing. The up side is that their undies got washed. The floors are all beautiful marble so clean up isn't bad - well I say that - I didn't have to clean up. Today we are under code red and the schools have been closed in anticipation
