Through the border, no problem. We had a very picturesque drive down to Redmond, a subburb of Seattle where we are bunking at Brian and Alison's beautiful new house. Brian is taking us to the airport early tomorrow for our flight to NYC. Unfortunatly the 5 minute video tour of the house for Grandma mostly took far too long to put on here. There is a shot of Microsoft where Brian works, and of the outside of the house and of our bed here.
Up early on Tuesday and onto an uneventful 4 hour flight to Newark. We have never spent a better $100. than the one to get a car to take us from the airport to 80 Rutland Road in Brooklyn. We are now in a very comfortable B&B. We had a huge meal at The Flyfisher and are now in our room. Tomorrow we plan to do lots of walking around the Brooklyn Bridge area. People say it's nice there. This was called a very, "Flavourful" neighbourhood by the waitress in the restaurant.
