A Sermon and a Birthday Party

What a blessing we enjoyed today. It was our joy to see and hear our son bringing the message at church. Liam was able to serve as one of the summer speakers at the church that he and Janelle attend. The summer series is based upon, "Big questions" in the Bible. This weeks question was, Do we place our trust in our abundance or in God's? Liam did a fine job. His sermon was both thought provoking and entertaining.

This afternoon we attended the 50th birthday of the John Walter Museum. John Walter was one of Edmonton's first entrepreneurs and he had a fine bash. Beatrix was having her nap, so we took Ngila down and she got to do a craft, play games in which she was 2 for 2 and have cake. We had fun.
